Gone Writin’

Not that I’ve been a prolific journaler or blogger lately anyway, but in case you’re wondering why IMR isn’t going to see many updates for the month of November, it’s because I’m writing elsewhere.

Yep, I’m doing the NaNoWriMo thing (National Novel Writing Month, for the uninitiated). A wholly ridiculous commitment to generating 50,000 words of fiction in 30 days. And that’s any words of fiction, not neccessarily good words. Like most of my fellow 7,000-plus NaNoids (including a handful in Hawaii), the point is to —in the spirit of Nike marketing — Just Write It.

Comments, constructive feedback, and questions are welcome (I’m posting both the novel and my reflections on the alleged writing process)!
