A positively harrowing essay in the Sept. 1 issue of the Washington Post entitled, “Political Victory: From Here to Maternity” (registration required). With a straight face, author Phillip Longman notes:
“Conservative, religiously minded Americans are putting far more of their genes into the future than their liberal, secular counterparts… Fertility correlates strongly with religious conviction… High fertility also correlates strongly with support for George W. Bush. Of the top 10 most fertile states, all but one voted for Bush in 2000.”
He concludes, “If ‘Metros’ don’t start having more children, America’s future is ‘Retro.’”
C’mon, gang, get busy. We’re full up over here!

There is nothing to fear folks. A conservative America is a traditional America. God Bless America.
