I’m still processing the news that Yahoo! bought Flickr, the photo sharing/social networking site I fell in love with at first sight last year. It was rumored, of course, but they were also saying Sony was going to buy Apple.
Of course the Flickr folks are happy, and they’re adamant that Yahoo! is going to let them keep doing what they’re doing, but…
Anyone remember eGroups? Or Webring? Not the most encouraging track record for handling popular and innovative ideas.
