Down to Earth is said to have been started and is still run by followers of a strongly homophobic guru Chris Butler. The store sponsored the homophobic radio program of Mike Gabbard. The cult is also anti choice. The name of the cult is The Science of Identity Foundation, based in Hawaii. The cult also does not support separation of church and state. Butler is also known as "Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupananda Paramahamsa." The Rick Ross forum online has some excellent material.

Doesn't hurt DTE that the new competition is being built on top of Hawaiian burial grounds. Plenny bad mojo there! I won't be going in.

Also, off topic, but have you noticed this story about captcha?
