Tech Breakfast on Tapping Stimulus Funds

On Friday, the monthly HISciTech Tech Download networking breakfast organized by the Hawaii Science & Technology Council will cover “The Federal Stimulus Package and You: Maximizing Investment Opportunities for Your Company and Hawaii’s Future.” Given the current state of the economy, organizers hope to help local businesses tap into federal stimulus funds, and to hear from those that are already linked into the process.

Presenters include Amy Asselbaye, Chief of Staff for Rep. Neil Abercrombie, Paul Shinkawa, CEO of KPRS Energy LLC, and David Watamull, President & CEO of Cardax Pharmaceuticals. There will be an “open mike” portion of the program for questions and sharing.

The HiSciTech Tech Download will be held at The Pacific Club (1451 Queen Emma St.) from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Friday, June 12. The cost is $15 for HiSciTechMembers, $20 for non members. To RSVP, call 536-4670 or e-mail [email protected].

The monthly event is supported by the UH Shidler College of Business, Pacific Asian Management Institute (PAMI), the Center for International Business and Education Research (CIBER), the UH Office of Technology Transfer and Economic Development (OTTED), the Department of Business Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT), and EPSCoR Hawaii.
