An important lesson to any student… beyond the fundamental, “plagiarism is bad.” And that is, “if you are going to plagiarize, try not to steal from an author who published the original work online.”

Methinks Princeton grad Ung Lee is in a wee bit of trouble.

The school has already pulled Lee’s recycled version of the story by Seth Shafer — who edits Pig Iron Malt — but it was cached by the all-knowing Google.

Speaking of Google, not surprisingly, it was the search engine that helped the Princeton newspaper’s staff find Lee’s inspiration, according to an interview with Shafer at Moby Lives. [MeFi]
