Lucky Bastard

It was nine years ago to the day that I asked Jen if she wouldn’t mind, terribly, perhaps maybe being my girlfriend. I’m still not sure why she said yes. (Maybe she thought it was an April Fool’s prank.) But I’m glad she did.
