Can You Hear Me Now?

Nifty! San Francisco station KYCY, branded KYOURadio by owner Infinity Broadcasting Corp., came alive this week with the homegrown sounds of podcasts. And, as it turns out, one of the shows heard in rotation today was HawaiiUP, by yours truly.

According to the schedule, unsuspecting California residents who are weird enough to use the AM side of their radio dial will hear me every four hours or so.

I only sent in one show, my April 15 podcast, and I’m not sure if I’ll be sending any more. (The podcast-over-the-air concept is just a little weird to me.) But, even if no one’s listening at 4 a.m. in San Francisco, it’s nice to imagine a tiny little piece of me wafting through the atmosphere.
