Slimed

Jokes about airline food were flying fast and furious last week when the story broke about the “pink slimy substance” observed by FDA inspectors at the Gate Gourmet‘s Honolulu facility. And the FDA has been kind enough to post their official warning letter online with all the disgusting details.

They’ve apparently cleaned up their act, but this is an episode frequent flyers won’t forget anytime soon. Ick.
