iTunes Upgrade

Well, the much anticipated upgrade to Apple’s iTunes music software is out today, the one that adds built-in support for podcasts. There’s also an updater for iPods, making them the first piece of hardware to do podcasts as well.

It’s not going as smoothly as folks had hoped (I’m tracking some of the issues on a wiki), but overall, I’m sure it’ll grow the podcasting audience manyfold.

It’s the little things that make me happy, though. Like having my own entry in the iTunes Music Store (that link won’t work if you don’t have iTunes, of course). Hopefully it’ll be updated to include my hula girl logo and other iTunes-specific tweaks soon.

UPDATE: Hey, iTunes 4.9 can digest videoblogs, too!
