Help HIFF, Score Tix

HIFF 27

The Hawaii International Film Festival is undeniably the world’s premiere “East-meets-West” showcase, bringing Asian and western cinema, art, and culture together like nothing else… right here in the middle of the Pacific. For all its red carpets and top-shelf talent, however, HIFF still needs an enormous network of volunteers to survive.

HIFF has issued a call for help for its main event, the 27th Louis Vuitton Hawaii International Film Festival taking place Oct. 18th through the 28th. This year, volunteering is easier than ever, as HIFF has enlisted the Shiftboard online staff management service. After creating your account, you can browse the available positions and shifts and sign up for the ones that work best for you. And each shift you serve earns you a voucher to see a film.

And there are a lot of great films to see.

According to übersocialite Christa, shuttle van drivers are most in demand. HIFF will provide the van, you need only bring your driver’s license and a burning desire to prowl Honolulu streets with the cultural elite.
